Workforce Development Series 1:
Professional Public Identity: What is it and why should you care?

We have exciting news!!!! Mark your calendars!!!!

Over the past year, we've spoken and worked with many UNT economic alumni members and found that entering the workforce post-graduation was a little rocky. Questions such as,

  • I have the skills, but now what?
  • What types of jobs should I apply for?
  • What can I actually do?
  • Ok, I meet these qualifications, but not those, should I still apply?
  • etc...

left many alumni members feeling lost and tbh, a little discouraged. That's why we've decided to launch our first ever Workforce Development Series, where we will be discussing ways of navigating the workforce and how to maximize job success and career pathways. So whether you're well into your career or just getting started, come join us as we learn, celebrate and uplift one another!

Our first session will be February 23rd at 7pm CST via Zoom on "Professional Public Identity: What is it and Why Should You Care?", where we will be discussing how to improve your professional portfolio and public profile to enhance your core skillset, expand your network and boost your confidence!

Zoom link will be sent out the day of the event
