To gain admission to the Department of Economics Master of Science in Economics program, applicants must first apply to and be admitted to the Toulouse Graduate School. The admissions process begins with the online application to the Toulouse Graduate School.
Start here: https://tgs.unt.edu/future-students/graduate-admissions/index.html. The application fee cannot be waived. Once an applicant applies, they receive an ID number. That number can be used to track the application through the entire application process. For example, as transcripts are received by the University, the portfolio is updated. As GRE scores are received, the portfolio likewise is updated. If fees remain to be paid, that also will be shown on the applicant's page.
In addition to the steps for admission listed on the traditional admissions page, international applicants should click here to review the additional information for other application requirements and priority dates.

Important: The Department of Economics does not see any portion of a student's application portfolio until that portfolio is complete and forwarded by the Toulouse Graduate School to the Department. The Department cannot make any decisions on admission or funding until the application has been transferred from The Toulouse Graduate School (to whom students initially apply - see above) to the Department. Using the ID number, applicants have the ability to know when their application has been completed and sent to the Department. International applicants have a longer process, as their initial application is reviewed by UNT International, who then forwards the portfolio to the Toulouse Graduate School, which then forwards it to the Department.
