Undergraduate Advising

Due to currently modified UNT operations, economics faculty advisors are only offering distance advising via emails and Zoom. We are postponing all walk-in advising until further notice.

Questions About prerequisites, Problems Registering, which economics courses to take, and/or degree requirements.

  • Advising via emails

Please email your advisor or EconAdvising@unt.edu if you have any questions or concerns. Be patient with response time, as we expect an increased amount of emails. As always, please email us from your UNT email address only and include your 8-digit UNT student ID number and as much detail as possible.

  • Advising via Zoom

If you would like to set up a Zoom advising appointment, refer to the advising schedule below and email an advisor, who fits your schedule best. Do not forget to include your student ID number with all email correspondence. When an appointment is confirmed, a Zoom link for the meeting time will be emailed via your UNT email. During peak advising periods, we expect advisors' schedules to fill up quickly. So please email us to request an appointment 1-3 days before you would like to meet and, in your email, suggest several options for times that work for you.
