Undergraduate Advising

Questions About prerequisites, Problems Registering, which economics courses to take, and/or degree requirements.

We are offering appointments in person or via Zoom (an online appointment platform accessible by computer or phone). Appointments can be made by emailing your advisor or EconAdvising@unt.edu. Please refer to the advising schedule below and email an advisor, who fits your schedule best. During peak advising periods, we expect advisors' schedules to fill up quickly. So please email us to request an appointment 1-3 days before you would like to meet and, in your email, suggest several options for times that work for you.

As always, please email us from your UNT email address only and include your 8-digit UNT student ID number. Be patient with response time, as we expect an increased amount of emails.

  • Advising via emails

For most students and advisors, e-mail is convenient, fast, and accessible. Please email your advisor or EconAdvising@unt.edu if you have any questions or concerns.

  • Advising in person

If your appointment is in-person, please come to our advising office in Wooten Hall 325 for your scheduled appointment.

  • Advising via Zoom

If your appointment is through Zoom, your advisor will send a link to your UNT email to access the meeting prior to the scheduled appointment time.
