Highlights: 

Dr. Jiang earned his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 2020 and his M.A. from Vanderbilt University in 2014. He specializes in Real Estate and Urban Economics, Health Economics, Household Finance, and Economic Development. His research focuses on housing affordability, urban sustainability, and economic opportunity. 

Dr. Jiang has published in leading peer-reviewed academic journals, including Journal of Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Urban Studies.

 

Dr. Jiang was named a Lincoln Institute Scholar in 2023. In 2025, he and Dr. Xi Yang received the Early Career Research Award from the Upjohn Institute, an honor awarded to only 10 scholars nationwide.
