It is with the deepest sadness we make the following announcement. Dr. Susan Dadres, ('84, '86 MS), Principal Lecturer of UNT Economics, died on May 19, 2022.

She joined UNT in 2006 and taught Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macro Theory, Public Economics, and Behavioral Economics. She was widely acclaimed for outstanding online course designing and teaching. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from University of North Texas and a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University.

She is survived by her husband Ali, children Sarah, Jesse, Emma, and grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled at 2:00 p.m., May 25 at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, 503 North Central Expressway.
