Academic Assistant Positions in the Department of Economics
The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applications for Academic Assistant positions beginning August 2016. Academic Assistants (AA's) are top students who have completed at least 12 hours of coursework in Economics. AA's primarily work in the Economics Department Help Room, working with students taking Principles of Macroeconomics or Principles of Microeconomics. Some AA's are assigned to help students taking upper division classes, such as Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Economics of Discrimination, Consumer Economics, and International Trade. Preference for these positions will be given to Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of 3.2 or above. Click Here for the Application form and more information.
Must be an Economics Major or Minor.

Application Instructions (IMPORTANT-Please read):
Bring your completed application (Click Here for the Application form) to the Economics Department office, Hickory Hall room 254. After your application has been briefly reviewed, you will be asked to take an exam over Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. Successful applicants will then be asked to come in for an interview.
The position pays $16 per hour for undergraduates and most are scheduled for 15 to 20 hours per week.
